There's a not to be missed show this week in NYC: controversial writer Michel Houellebecq goes art gallery at Adam Lindemann's Venus Over Manhattan (a title we'd all wished we thought of first;). French novelist éminence grise Houellebecq was first commissioned by the Palais de Tokyo in Paris in 2016. Not having seen the show I can't imagine anyone will come away numb. Houellebecq seems to be voicing Europe's current predicament through an extra-terrestrial retro Dreyfus Affair voice that never was silenced. Is there an American Houellebecq? Forgive me if I have overlooked a writer. Filmmakers to mind abound. Some included in John Waters top 10 films of 2014- including Guillaume Nicloux's amazing French film starring Houellebecq himself as a captive: The Kidnapping of Michel Houellebecq. An utterly entrancing utterly disturbing tweeness. Such is Houellebecq.

I was expecting a baby a-Quinn Marc's Alison Lapper Statue! ;) I guess the Hairspray royalties finally ran out;) I felt like that when I couldn't afford one of Frank Stella's great new creations and was subtly shown the door;) NYC has never changed! I bet even Godzilla would have eventually been 'tamed'. I got a great deal on .....well I ain't gonna tell you am I !
I'm in my treehouse but maybe I will make the opening. Alas, my last experiment in the time portal continuum ending up with my right testicle on a dinner plate in...should have quit with absinthe eh Suzanne Valadon! OK, she slept around but what a gal to be with for just one night.
