Where were deserts
Now trees.
Where was hatred
Now weeds.
Where was silence
Now shout!
Where blight
Let them wonder
About.

the sails were torn in the wind…
Kitty is learning a new song:
Everybody ought to have a cat
Everybody ought to have a working girl
Everybody ought to have a lurking girl
To putter around the house
Everybody ought to have a maid,
Everybody ought to have a menial
Consistently congenial
And quieter than a mouse
Kitty: I was going to change it to 'To keep away the mouse' but Maestro Sondheim's words are better. Am I a congenial cat?
Being with a genie inside you! Magical cat! Wish Farouk was here then we could do a dance trio with you.
Andrew: Farouk's the ferret. [?]
Kitty: Well, yes…but Farouk could be anything. Anything he wanted to be.
Andrew: I feel a song common' on.
Kitty: Are you encouraging me:)?
Andrew: LOL, like you need….
You can all guess the finale….surely...
Puttering all around the house
The house
The house
The house
Andrew, Kitty and Farouk look at each other like detectives and [agree]
The Mouse

Having started last night May 1 at 8 p.m. and running through 8 p.m. May 2, over 200 celebrities will participate in The Call to Unite standing in solidarity with those experiencing pain, fear, loneliness and grief — and offer hope and support as we build a new future together,” the benefit’s organizers said in a statement.
Cats from the American Folk Art Museum
Caught the last 90minutes (hosted by Maria Shriver) of The Call to Unite. Hope this is available to all after the livestream. What was the last 24hours like?!!!! Felt so not alone listening to these wonderful thinkers. And I truly did feel somewhat. Before. Nothing sanctimonious here. The world truly did need a paradigm shift. A mountain to climb though.
Eyes of thirst
The blinded horse gallops
Padded feet
Mock of hooves
Hanging carcass
No respect
Drunk, leaden with courage
Scraped from the heart
From one who's cursing blood
Has no recall.
No cud consider.
Thus writ, sonnets of soft clover.
