as a 'Valerian' criticism of mineself: my first teacher in Sydney reminded me, you miss the first consonant. So true, I am still making the same mistake. If it was the Wigmore Hall, I'm sure not. I mention this because it is so obvious and yet so 'benign'?! My mini-masterclass to students: it seems so overt to accentuate the first consonant of a phrase (even as pop sang'). But as heartfelt as it may be, your audience hasn't a clue what u r about to emout about! The 'fake' becomes 'real'.
