Waterhouse & Dodd have some great (relatively neglected) Norman Bluhm down there. Galerie St. Etienne in NYC have a geniusly paired must see show featuring the relatively neglected Sue Coe.

Los Angeles warmed up for the Golden Globes tonight Sunday. Wow. When announced, I was initially a little trepidatious given the wholesale promulgation of empowerment and the dress code (mine a foreign voice after all...). How unwarranted and wrong! I have never seen so many women all at once look so amazingly beautiful! Color's great but what one can do with black (uhumm tuxedoed men over the decades) !! Shoddy design ideas REALLY show up in black on women. And those with talent excel. Proust would have loved this. And how simply inventive can be stylists. One was drawn not so much to the hint of a female ankle, leg or a breast or but the face inside that dress. It was fascinating to see en masse.
