little did we know back in 2013,,,what an evening. Of course, aren’t they all? Belafonte’s intro as elegant and relevant now as…
Binge watching The Kennedy Center Honors actually one feels human.
I mean creature.
, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
La-la di-di-da da-dum
Sing us a song, you're the piano cat
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us feelin' alright
My paws aren’t fit for such melody
Is Alban Berg OK tonight?

Dearest Kitty,
Goodnight my angel, time to close your eyes
And save these questions for another day
I think I know what you've been asking me
I think you know what I've been trying to say
I promised I would never leave you
Then you should always know
Wherever you may go, no matter where you are
I never will be far away
Heard a trailer from John Holiday (The Voice), a counter-tenor trekking where angels fear to tread, with a song from Schumann’s Dichterliebe. And thought, so many of these voices on The Voice are phenomenal. They could send Sondheim, Jerry Herman, Broadway et al composers through the roof. No longer am I fit to be a robot;)!

Broadway company is one thing. Family there. Least for the run. Make no mistake: out alone on a stage bearing one’s there heart. There is no voice big or small. All voices are equal in their soul. So when you hear a voice that passes by, that says keep off that toxic grass, put a Fosse hat on it that asks why…
This interview with opera mezzo Stephanie Blythe should be required watching for every female contestant on The Voice. Let alone the men!
Who knew? A world of realty so near yet so far from our own. Right!
When we reach mid-February thinking Winter almost over and it ain’t plunging all helplessly into despair. Fear not. Season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel drops Feb 18. A fair weather bridge of the heart to March. I’m no show runner but Season 3. One of, if not the, simplest, most poignant show endings in memory. Times haven’t really changed. Have they.
