Even if you don’t like Obama, you cannot not like Jennifer Hudson! What’s wrong with you! Woof!!
Nostalgia is comforting though not very useful moving on.
What’s worrying now is how kids are comprehending tech and reality. Had some downtime, would visit the National Gallery in London, happen upon school groups. A sea of raised hands from little ones, far less so the teenagers. Different now? Firmly believe that tech/AI isn’t the bad guy. Isn’t the sleezy 70s Faustian guy in Times Square. Once there was a high-school philosopher who asked his students moral questions: is the person giving you all you want really a friend? How do you get, rather allow, teenagers asking questions, still? Why are we looking at Raphael not Kerry James Marshall. Can one teach us the other without exclusivity? Once you start the questions never cease..
I wanna be where the people are I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancing. Exhilarating watching extraordinary Broadway talent under the LA Hollywood Bowl setting sun. Youth through music. Meow, gurgle!!!
Is real life more and more resembling Black Mirror, David Remnick? Still one must admire fastidious fact checking: phone call from The New Yorker: “you’re quoted as saying ‘the music in my heart I bore’. And earlier on you’re quoted as saying…” “Was that a human heart or…” So fun when that NY’er staffer admitted in a doc they so fact checked a cartoon as to whether that umbrella would cast that shadow at that time on the sand but totally neglected the x2 left or were they x2 right feet? “Were they human feet?” ;) Mmmurgle.
And that’s not a segue into Disclosure Day, Mr. Steven Spielberg. You never invited KITTY? She never reviews anything without ‘pawing’ first. Including my feet!
Once you start the questions never cease..
Once upon a time, alley cats New York into their eyes…
