DREAM ON...

Sometimes one little voice can really get ears twitching (even those of the White House’s commerce department). Such is the hard to fault logic of Suzanne de Treville’s (University of Lausanne) business model for saving the manufacturing industries of the world and preventing needless, wasteful outsourcing overseas. The YouTube podcast is a great introduction to the speech she gave last night at New York’s World Economic Forum office. Just the ‘insanely’ practical thinking would also be useful for arts institutions in cutting costs and looking far into the future.

Does anyone remember/know the British story?
