Like something almost being said;

“I don’t belong here. This place, this place don’t want me. Why should I fight to stay in a place that doesn’t want me?”

“And that is exactly how they want you to feel. They don’t want you here but that doesn’t mean you don’t belong.”

KITTY’s Saturday Night Movie

Show me a film. Any film. You choose.

OK. Now I’ll alienate only the ones who aren’t true aliens!. Enjoying Woody Allen’s A Rainy Day in New York when a bit bored of streaming and depressed. [Even the coffee cup becomes art Signor Vittorio! ..I think about you…] Why can’t I continually smile at other crap? Not taking sides. Should never have broached this topic. What the ‘f’ what care I anymore. Except deeply. Unlike you schmucks! You like me or despise me. Latter me thinks cause I navigated life better and wiser and less pathetic than you! I’ll try and write a self-help book just for you. Like stating the obvious. Titanic wasn’t so, obvious. Admittedly. And the truth never surfaced until a few decades ago.

Problem I have with the whole Woody Allen ‘thing’. All of this blatantly promulgated and investigated back in 1992. So: how many celebrities signed up to work for Woody in those following decades? Cate Blanchett is on documentary record stating “it’s a family thing”. Then years later…

Everyone is entitled to their freedom of speech. Their opinion. Whatever reason. Not dissing Ronan or Dylan Farrow. Anyone. But there wasn’t anything substantially different in the public media in 1992 this than now. Same footage. Same arguments. Sure: different zeitgeist. But zeitgeist?! Really?!

Not being cruel or judgmental, or anything. But if you felt so passionate about this subject celebs, why did you agree to work with Woody Allen after 1992? It’s a fair question, sorry, but it is? And you did.

Have mine own axes to grind. One may argue they are petty. Insignificant. But they hurt like hell. Forever. So don’t say ever: I don’t fucking care! Okay!

Can I play the piano? Verboten, mein schatzi.

Deeply saddening is the decades of Western diplomacy with Russia washed away in Putin’s massive political mud slide. Let alone the senseless loss of life and happiness in the Ukraine. When will the Kremlin let go? Is there someone rising through the ranks who truly believes in sea-change?

It's OK to Be Angry About Capitalism

Just found my replacement LOL and sanity for the world and The Late Late Show James Corden farewell. All episodes of QI are on BritBox. Can't inagine CBS's announced replacement for James' slot could emulate. Remember this show back when Stephen Fry and myself were male models:)! Separate glossies of course;) [Amy Schumer got there first, what can I say…] How Britain must need this show nowadays. Don't even need the NHS (National Health Service) just the license fee. Or a cheap date at the instantly significant other's with the telly on. Don't think that ruse would have a hope in hell in America. Actually learn something from QI.

A host of comedians relatively unknown in the States (much harder to be quick witted and twatfull/less depending, on a panel show than your own stand-up). All wrangled by the sweet funny Sandi Toksvig. If you're a 'cheap-cat' most QI eps aren't available on YouTube or the local library. What is it with all the Brit crime/murder shows streaming on BritBox. Maybe there just seem more than America. Need a QI researcher for that.

There Are Bad Times Just Around The Corner

Television is an invention that permits you to be entertained by people in your living room you’d never have in your home.- David Frost

Off to watch some Gardeners’ World. Not that many flowers ever bloom in my garden with all the maples and black walnuts. [that was a great with Ken Branagh film]. Yin/Yang. QI: flowers need loads of sunlight. Otherwise, a rather lame azalea with two little Snoopy flowers welcomes Spring. Maybe hybrid grow some ‘Jurassic Park’ ferns. Just my luck there’ll be some crazy guy at the nursery who got rejected by the Poison Garden and moved devilishly to Upstate NY. Stranger things..Or could paint akin Antonioni and his grass all the plastic greenery gathered in my attic over the years and couldn’t possibly allow to sleep inside alone.

Or was that the basement? Uh oh.

Is that a segue to The Last of Us

When Bartok's son recorded Dylan Thomas

It was a different time…

Can’t quite get into Elvis. That’s not to say that director Baz Luhrmann isn’t, as always, provocative. Fascinating. Like no other. Wasn’t really a fan of his Gatsby. Anyone who challenges the perceived wisdom of the Elvis myth AND creates a star in Austin Butler deserves. Well. The name is Baz. Baz Luhrmann. Shakin', stirrin' and thowin’ right in your face you prick!

The pelvis. No wiggling of those hips. We want old Elvis. Crimes of lust and perversion. You can’t make up this shit because THAT was America. Clearly still some places. Elvis so often sanitized. Yet he sang and stood for truth. A dream. There’s a Constitution. Many truthful voices out there, but who to trust? Music cauterizing duplicity.

Thought a' great punchline to all this. Now. 3am in the mornin’. Totally forgotten. Descending the stairs refilling ice cubes to the 'Bourbon' just as Jessica Chastain.. Well: Nora's Ok. Least don't have a 'bud light ' mini fridge next to my philosophy umm, library.

Ney: could've played Vanya. Or Astrov! And Baz could've been Prime Minister in a better world, perhaps with a deeper voice. How ya'doin Jacinda. Aristotle gravitated to plankton!;) So: Dr. Ratowski roll back the tape...

Why do I hear Selena Gomez's voice in my head? Am I losin' my mind:)? Steve Martin is akin' me to plant carrots upside down. It's ..who I am to challenge that....

10 years later!

In Baltimore, changing minds, and saving lives

[One caveat to this great story. Sure you’ll know what that is. Needs a helluva lot of community trust goin’ down that road. It then only takes one….]
