Welcome alien friends…

What took you so long?

Like: it's 8 weeks prior to launch. Right? I mean launch from what was mediocre upper-middle class to mum la Hamptons. Maybe that text book should be hmmmm….Reminds me of a Monty Python sketch. But we egresss...

Scary: you got it Jordan Peele. Get Out. America is quite possibly the weirdest place in the world. WHO IS AMERICA? I can't sit through more than 15min of that brilliance and not be nauseated. Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius, but I rather long for the Ricky Gervais and a Doris Day injection!

Finally: me sat through the almost 20 hours of THE KNICK. Silence. Nobody bidding? This TV mini-series predates (precursor) all the Netflix/Amazon hoopla. Steven Soderbergh. Honestly, I can't find a dingle to criticize. That is/was/willbe America. Its best, its worst, forever its compromise. What the series asks so provocatively is: is that compromise really ever necessary when greatness abounds? Equally nobility seen. All warts.

As The Big Bang Theory hits TV heaven (and the highest paid…hey Andrew's ego needs alcohol and a home;), TV was akin to the LA art scene vs a vis NYC. Poor black sheep. Those in the know always knew that wasn't so.

We do live in interesting times. Always we must remind ourselves of that in utter despair.

Nothing in The Knick is out of place in 2019! Absolutely nothing!!!

(Your honor: I'd like to present Exhibit 1 in defense of that last statement.)

Think about it. Never seen a series better be a better recruitment viral for hospital orderlies, nurses, doctors, surgeons, patrons in our age of medical insurance/health services/hospital utter greed and hypocrisy.

So my urine is worth over $17,000. Allow me to piss against your wall. Sir/Madam!

Banksy via Warhol.

Just to give this post ‘Chomsky-esque’ balance, not all aliens sing la vera storia

When searching for that link discovered one of my old websites. Seek and ye may find.

What happened to Andrew in 6 years. I lived in NYC or did my neurons get older fast? Synonymous methinks.

(P.S.) oh dear, American folk don't always take me literally do they. Jamais!

Orson Welles’ War of the Worlds is alive and dead.

So: Mr Schrödinger, how long have you been suffering from Hamptons withdrawal?

And are you aware it is no longer legal in America to bear an umlaut?

Maybe a trip to the Cain and Abel film festival in the south of France would be a tonic?

Now, now Elton- 1st Amendment.
